Minus sets up shop in Barcelona

- The Berlin label returns to Sonar week with its shop, bar and club space, in addition to a beach party with Magda and others this Sunday.
- Minus have outlined their plans for 2011's Sonar week. Located close to Sonar By Day the Minus Space will deliver a series of presentations, workshops and DJ sets via its Lab and Bar venues throughout the weekend. For the tech heads Richie Hawtin will present Burn Audiotools, and the Liine Kapture app he developed for his Plastikman tour last year, and for those in search of straight-up party kicks, Mathew Jonson, Loco Dice and Seth Troxler are some of the artists billed to play in the Lab over the three days. Exclusive Minus memorabilia will also be available from its shop and gallery. And closing the festivities will be the Minus On The Beach party on the Sunday, which kicks off at 20.00 at El Prat's Chringuito Calamar. Running through until 04.00, this year's showcase from the Minus roster includes Troy Pierce, Gaiser and "first lady of minimal," Magda, as well as a back-to-back set from Paco Osuna and Barem, plus the promise of some "very special guests."
