Flying Lotus headlines Worldwide Festival

- The French edition of Gilles Peterson's annual event takes place in July.
- The next edition of Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival will take place in Sete, France, from the 6th through the 10th of July. As in years past, the seaside festival will encompass four outdoor stages, though this year the action's been expanded by a full day. Its lineup reflects the global eclecticism that has characterized the festival since it began in 2006. Live performances will come from Flying Lotus, James Blake, Laurent Garnier as LBS and Congolese percussion ensemble Konono No.1 among many others. On the DJ front, there's everything from disco to dub to turntablism, with DJ Harvey, Derrick Carter, David Rodigan, Joy Orbison and Cut Chemist among the confirmed. The event will once again wrap up with an 18-hour beach party. Meanwhile, names have begun trickling in for the Singapore edition of Worldwide Festival, taking place on September 16th-18th. Along with Peterson himself, that one will feature Floating Points, Brandt Brauer Frick and Pearson Sound, with the latter two booked for France as well.
