- This September, DFA will release the dance-punk trio's first album in five years.
The Rapture have unveiled details for their third album, In the Grace of Your Love.
The record marks the band's return to DFA, the now-famous indie label that released and produced some of their early tracks, including their first big single, "House of Jealous Lovers." That song, along with others like "Olio" and "I Need Your Love," made their 2003 album Echoes an underground hit, and helped define the angular, disco-punk sound that characterized much of indie rock in the '00s. Following the release of their 2006 album, Pieces of the People We Love, the band's output slowed, with just a handful of singles and a mix for !K7 coming out in the meantime.
In the Grace of Your Love will be The Rapture's first album in five years. It will hit stores in September, coinciding with with DFA's 10-year anniversary.
