  • Kate Simko will head to Toronto next weekend to play at local artist Arthur Oskan's album release party. Simko's meticulous brand of deep house and techno has found a home on the Spectral Sound and Ghostly International sister labels over the past few years, but her first solo album, Lights Out, will be released via Berlin's Hello? Repeat later this month. Meanwhile, she's been busy supporting the album with an audio/visual performance called "Luster" that has taken her on tour around the world. Sharing the night's headlining honors is Arthur Oskan, a Toronto producer with a knack for analog techno who will also be celebrating the release of his own debut full-length, A Little More Than Everything, on Thoughtless. Two more Thoughtless artists, label boss Noah Pred and newcomer Zaid Edghaim, will lend DJ support for the night's festivities in the Drake Hotel's underground room.
