  • Spanish producer Marc Dosem, better known simply as Dosem, will release his first album this June, entitled Parallel. The record will see release via Sino, an off-shoot of Technasia Records. The Hong Kong-based imprint took Dosem under its wing after he opened for Technasia at a party in Barcelona. Since then the label's been Dosem's primary outlet, releasing his 2009 12-inch Silent Drop and last year's Bension 01, a collaboration with Technasia and Bension, a fellow artist from the Spanish region of Girona. Parallel is a two-part album, with each half showing a different side of Dosem's sound. The first, simply called Dosem, has the same atmospheric techno sound as many of his past records. Sendo, on the other hand, shows the more cinematic side of his palette, dabbling in less beat-driven, more ambient sounds. Dosem says he'll follow up the album later this summer with a series of film shorts to go with each track. "I want people to experience the music through art," he says. "Each video will be a representation of the track, a mirror image, if you will." A remixed version of the album is also due out later in 2011. Tracklist Dosem 01. Look What You Did (Intro) 02.
