- The collection features all new tracks from the Moon Harbour sub-label, plus a bonus mix by Ekkohaus.
Cargo Edition have put together a compilation to celebrate their fifth anniversary, due for release at the end of June.
The Moon Harbour sub-label has been operating out of Leipzig since 2006, with the goal of providing a slightly headier alternative to its club-focused parent. So far it's played host to a small-ish crew of minimal house artists, with multiple appearances from Vera, Sven Tasnadi, Markus Schatz and Ekkohaus. Five Years of Cargo Edition features exclusive tracks from most of the label's regular contributors, plus some from newcomers like Minimono and Livio & Roby. Meanwhile, a second disc highlights tunes from the label's back catalogue in a mix by Ekkohaus, who says he "selected the right moments from the Cargo Edition discography to create a flow that allows the label's signature sound to unfold." The collection will be available digitally and as a double-CD package.

Cargo Edition will release Five Years of Cargo Edition on June 20th, 2011.
