Zombie Soundsystem turns 5 with Guido Schneider

- Poker Flat's Guido Schneider will lead the birthday celebrations for Zombie Soundsystem this weekend. In the five years its inception, Zombie Soundsystem, led by resident Shane Watcha, has evolved from a Sunday morning gathering into a record label and finally to a regular Saturday night affair. With a wide variety of 4/4 styles on offer, Zombie Soundsystem has featured The Mole, Bloody Mary and Robert Owens as guests in the last year, at a range of locations around East London. Schneider's appearance this Saturday will most likely be rooted in the classicist style of Berlin minimal techno, which he's favored in tracks for labels like Poker Flat and Tuning Spork, plus some of the heavier basslines of his most recent work for Highgrade and Level Non Zero. He will be joined at XOYO by Shane Watcha and Clint Lee on support, with more names yet to be announced.
