- The new Sunday weekly will be curated by Future Classic at Sydney's Alexandria Hotel.
Sydney label Future Classic's new Sunday afternoon party, Sunhaze, will launch next weekend with Jazzanova's Alex Barck to headline.
Future Classic's now defunct Après series had long been one of Sydney's most popular Sunday parties. Their afternoon sessions at Woolloomooloo's Tilbury Hotel played host to dozens of international DJs over its four years of operation, most of which were brought to Australia by Future Classic's touring arm. Sunhaze will pick up where Après left off, only this time it will all happen away from the water at the Alexandria Hotel. Alex Barck, who'll be fresh from spinning at this weekend's AGWA Yacht Club cruise, will be just the right start for the party's Sunday launch, as his grounding as a DJ is primarily in more laid back styles of house and disco.
Sunhaze will kick off at 3:00 PM each week, with the guest DJs to spin right through to 8:00 PM. In the meantime, you can find out more about Barck in our recent RA Exchange with the man himself.
