- Warp will release the band's first new album in 14 years in February 2011.
Seefeel will release a self-titled album through Warp early next year.
"Seefeel were the first band that Warp signed who had guitars," explains Warp co-founder Steve Beckett, "they were brave to sign to us because they became the 'older siblings' in the family and took all the flak by breaking the unwritten rules of an (up until then) purely dance label." Interest in the band reforming was stirred when they performed in Paris last year in celebration of Warp's 20th anniversary. Beckett apparently asked them to record a new album on the spot—the first material from which surfaced last month via comeback single Faults. The full-length, Seefeel, will see a release through Warp in February of next year and will be the band's first album since 1996's (CH-VOX).
A single live date has also been announced: Seefeel will play London's King's Place on January 31st.
