  • Alexander Tsotsos, AKA GummiHz will launch a new label this month called Claap. Born in Greece but based in Berlin, GummiHz has been DJing and producing for almost two decades, but Claap marks his first foray into the world of label management. Most of his records to date have been punchy and melodic club numbers, the majority of which have seen release through Berlin tech house establishment Mobilee. Claap appears set to follow this blueprint, with the first EP boasting three tech house tracks that dabble in tribal percussion and reverb-laden ethnic vocals. Entitled Sapfo, the record shows GummiHz teaming up with Nikoala Gala, a fellow Greek DJ and producer who also runs the digital label Escada Music. The record will be available digitally and on vinyl from October 18th. Tracklist 01. Sapfo 02. White Flowers 03. Deception Claap will release Sapfo on October 18th, 2010.
