- The Berlin-based icon has a pair of Australian club gigs lined up for this summer.
- Ricardo Villalobos is set to take two time outs from the upcoming Stereosonic touring festival, playing club shows in Melbourne and Sydney. It's been more than a decade since the Chilean-German superstar last played in Australia. Naturally, his year so far has been packed with international club gigs, including a much talked-about extended set at fabric in London. Though Australian residents won't be getting the same kind of ten-hour marathon he's prone to dishing out for European audiences, four hours in Melbourne's The Prince and Sydney's Metro Theatre should see the minimalist in good form. Australians not based in either of those cities, and who would rather be in the sun while Villalobos does his thing, can catch the celebrated jock on the Stereosonic tour, which kicks off in Sydney on November 27th and goes on to hit Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane over the following eight days.
