  • Two months after announcing their break-up, Belgian disco duo Aeroplane have revealed details for their debut album, fittingly entitled We Can't Fly. Formerly consisting of Vito De Luca and Stephen Fasano, the group split up earlier this summer, with Fasana leaving De Luca to carry on the Aeroplane moniker. "Stephen is leaving me in charge of our baby," De Luca posted on Facebook. "I will be, from now on, the one and only member of Aeroplane." Over the course of their seven-year run, the pair recorded a handful of 12-inches for Eskimo recordings, including Aeroplane / Caramellas, the b-side of which made it into our Top 100 tracks of the decade. News of the album has been floating around all summer, though the official details have only now been released. Guest appearance come from indie pop act Au Revoir Simone, French italo group Poni Hoax and the vocalist Merry Clayton, who sang on The Rolling Stones' classic "Gimme Shelter." Like much of Aeroplane's output to date, the overall vibe is sunny, upbeat and just a bit tongue-in-cheek. Tracklist 01. Mountains of Moscow 02. We Can’t Fly 03. Superstar 04. London Bridge 05. I Don’t Feel 06. Without Lies 07. The Point Of No Return 08. Good Riddance 09. Caramellas 10. Fish In The Sky 11. My Enemy 12. We Fall Over Eskimo will release We Can't Fly on September 27th, 2010.
