- The New York mainstay's next mix CD will hit stores this summer.
New York-based imprint Nervous Records is set to release the second edition of Junior's Nervous Breakdown, mixed once again by veteran DJ and producer Junior Vasquez.
Since the early '80s, Vasquez has been a staple of New York's club scene. In addition to remixes of artists like Bjork, Marilyn Manson and C+C Music Factory, his credentials include past residencies at legendary spots like Sound Factory, an afterhours venue he co-founded. Subtitled Demented, Vasquez's new compilation gives a snapshot of his current sound, mixing up crowd pleasers by the likes of Laidback Luke, Oscar G and Kid Massive and Honey Dijon. It will see release a full nine years after the first installment of Junior's Nervous Breakdown.
