- The Berlin promoters have lined-up six parties this summer featuring the likes of Richie Hawtin, Tobi Neumann and Thomas Melchior.
- Berlin promoters Stadt.Strand.Fluss. have announced their plans for summer 2010. Their summer of love kicks off this Saturday June 5th (so long as the weather sorts itself out) at Club der Visionaere. The canal-side space will be given a temporary makeover with enhanced lighting and a sizable marque space housing André Galluzzi, Dandy Jack And The Metronome Allstars and Sonja Moonear. Berlin Beats and Boats on Saturday July 11th will be SSF's next outing. Minus, Get Physical, Souvenir, Oslo, Mobilee and Moon Harbour are all are among the imprints to have secured vessels, while Tobi Neumann, Marc Houle, Sascha Funke, Tiefschwarz and Federico Molinari are among the crew members. If you count yourself as more of a landlubber, however, consider staying on shore for the massive East Port Festival, taking place in and around Arena. Many of those playing sets of the Spree will also spin at the event, but also look out for sets from Thomas Melchior & Bruno Pronsato (live), Guido Schneider, Petre Inspirescu, Sammy Dee and Margaret Dygas. A trio of events will round out SSF's summer, beginning with Berlin Beach Break at Strandbad Grunau, a river-side space in the south of the city, with ample sandy spaces and wooden shack for a DJ booth. Revelers can opt to take a boat or bus down to the site on Sunday August 8th, but either way, know that Richie Hawtin, Magda, Andre Galluzzi and Rebekah Aff will also be in attendance. Although details are somewhat scant at this stage, we have asscertained that Stadt Strand Camp event will take place over the course of nine days (21st - 30th August) out at Feriendorf Muggelsee, which is said to be Berlin's biggest "city beach." And although it was thought to have seen its last clubbing action last year, Rechenzentrum / Funkpark is the site for SSF's final adventure of the summer. Sunday Getaway takes place on August 22nd, and will boast Tobi Neumann, Guido Schneider, Matthias Tanzmann and Pier Bucci among its ranks.
