- The Third Ear signing will headline the inaugural party at London's Visions Video Bar this weekend.
Wbeeza has been chosen to headline the first Transition event in London this Friday.
The bash will take place at Visions Video Bar in Dalston, and will focus on the capital's homegrown house music talent for its launch party. He may still be a young man, but Wbeeza has already proven his skills behind the mixing desk with three diverse singles for Guy McCreery's Third Ear imprint. Instead of relying on DJing other people's records, Wbeeza only ever plays live, and after impressive performances at both secretsundaze and Freerotation, there should be a fair amount of anticipation in advance of his set.
Lakuti has also become a pillar of London's house music community, running the Uzuri label and hosting regular parties under the Süd Electronic brand, which have seen the likes of Prosumer, Levon Vincent and Lawrence grace their turntables. Expect plenty of classic material from Chicago, New York and Detroit on top of the hottest upfront selections when she takes to the Technics this Friday. Support comes from the Transition DJs and Runsounds resident Chris Box.
