  • Sinden has launched a new record label called Grizzly, with two EPs slated for release this spring. On stage and on CD, the UK-based DJ's style has always been hard to pin down, combining elements of dubstep, grime, electro and weird mutations such as fidget house. Sinden says the goal of the new label is to further champion this kind of high-energy, genre-bending material. "I want Grizzly to reflect my style of club music which is all-embracing, fun, disparate and twisted up," he says. "[The label] will bring this sense of unexpectedness, flitting between styles—it's serious music without taking itself too seriously." Grizzly's first release will be by Sinden and SBTRKT, a producer he met on MySpace. Entitled Midnight Marauder, it's due to hit stores on April 19th. The following month will see the release of Brodinkski's Arnold Classics, an EP complete with remixes by Tony Senghore, Egyptrixx and DJ Sega.
