  • Jason Fine is set to issue his second full-length at the end of this year. The young producer from Michigan first got his break after being picked up by Omar-S for a 12-inch on FXHE. Rising Swedish label Kontra-Musik were obviously also impressed by his delicate mix of ambient, house, electro and techno, swiftly signing him up to release his debut LP Our Music Is A Secret Order on the imprint, and their relationship is set to continue with Future Thought. More dance floor-focused than its predecessor, Fine's sophomore effort again sees the producer flex his various styles, traversing through skippy Detroit techno ("Amplitude Modulation," "Control Voltage," "Process Three"), psychedelic electro ("Broken Home") and dreamy house ("Nutella", "Many To Many") via the cosmic tribalism of "Butterscotch." The vinyl release will be spread across two 12-inches that will each be issued at the start of the next two months, while digital buyers will have to wait until December 12th for the tracks to hit retailers. Tracklist 01. Amplitude Modulation 02. Broken Home (feat. Lee Anderson) 03. Nutella 04. Butterscotch 05. Cream 06. Control Voltage 07. Process Thee (feat. Lee Anderson) 08. Many To Many Kontra-Musik will release Another Thought digitally on December 12th, 2009.
