  • Amsterdam's Studio K is set to host two parties over the ADE weekend, catering to fans of electronic disco, house and techno. The venue may act as a cinema, restaurant and theatre most of the time, but Studio K also has the scope to host DJs and live music, becoming quite the hot spot for revellers looking for a medium-sized party to hit during the ADE. There are two parties of note to be hosted in the space during this year's conference, with local promoters The Universe and Go Bang! teaming up for an appetising line-up of disco and house on the Friday night. American ex-pat Maurice Fulton heads up the bill, while Detroit prodigy Kyle Hall will also make a rare European appearance at the party. Dekmantel's Thomas Martojo and Casper Tielrooij will also play at the bash, aiming to prove their credentials as two of Amsterdam's most knowledgeable authorities on US dance music. On the other hand, if you prefer to get down to a more techy European flavour of dance music, Saturday night's Vrijbuiters Go Berlin party may be the one for you. Freak'n'Chic's Dan Ghenacia and Anthony Collins head up a main room line-up that includes rated local artists Makcim and Olene Kadar, while the second room will see Philpot boss Jackmate and Krause Duo mix up acid, minimal, house and techno.
