Luca Bacchetti to tour Australia

- The European will arrive in the country for a string of shows next month.
- Luca Bacchetti is set to tour Australia next month, touching down in Adelaide, before heading east for shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. So far, 2009 has seen the Italian tech house producer rack up plenty of frequent flyer points, playing shows across Europe, the UK and US. A prominent remixing talent, Bacchetti has previously lent his hands to, among others, industry heavyweights Danny Tenaglia and Satoshi Tomiie. His own productions have received recognition with several singles released through Wagon Repair. The Tenax Recordings regular was also nominated for last year's Best Minimal Artist in the annual Beatport awards. Bacchetti's Melbourne visit will mark local mix CD institution Balance's first foray into hosting events outside of their customary album launches. Widely known for their mix series—which has attracted the likes of Joris Voorn and Will Saul to the controls—Balance will kick off their introduction to event promotions with an intimate show at Cristal Lounge, an inner-city cocktail bar.
