- Details of next month's installment of burgeoning techno and house institution The Likes of You has been revealed, just days before this weekend's venture featuring Audion, Oxia and Omar-S. October's event will be a German affair, with Johnny D and Butch set to headline proceedings. Both artists have been penciled for additional Australian shows, which should see them stopping off in Canberra and Perth, alongside their The Likes of You appearances in Melbourne and Sydney. The Melbourne leg, taking place at Ffour, will also serve as the venue's official farewell. It was announced last week that the venue would be closing its doors permanently. Fittingly, The Likes of You's organisers are encouraging those attending Ffour's finale to "bring your mum, bring your dad and take home a memento from one of the clubs that has transformed Melbourne into the underground music haven it is today." In other The Likes of You news, main stakeholder Future Entertainment recently announced a partnership with Sydney promoters Reckless Republic, which will see the brands combine to further reach in the Australian capital.
