  • Matthew Dear is set to headline Spectral Sound's open air shindig in Berlin this weekend. Over the course of the last couple of summers, the city's Funkpark venue has become one of the essential spots for open-air clubbing, and the Ann Arbor label are the latest label to take advantage of it. Kicking off at 10am on Sunday 9th August, the bash will see the imprint represented by official Spectral DJ Ryan Elliott, Dear, and Bodycode, who will play live in support of his recently released Immune full-length. Bodycode's performance should be somewhat lighter in tone than his Spectral colleagues, while revelers wanting their day to take a turn to the darker side should be pleased to hear that Dyed Soundorom and Perlon's Matt John will both be taking to the decks during the day. The forecast is currently looking positive for this weekend's event, but if it rains, the party will be moved inside to the Rechenzentrum section of the venue. And if you're feeling adventurous, consider arriving on the Saturday and staying all the way through; Playkula & Wilde will be bringing Italoboyz, Masomenos, MIA, Matt Tolfrey & Inxec and Bill Patrick down to the venue the night before.
