- NYC disco digger Roy Dank will re-launch his label with a 12-inch from Brennan Green.
Roy Dank (AKA My Cousin Roy) is set to put the brakes on his Wurst Edits label in favour of a new venture.
Now going under the name The Wurst Music Co, the re-launched imprint will now focus solely on original artist material, with the first release coming from fellow New Yorker Brennan Green. Green and Dank already have a close relationship, with the pair formerly DJing together regularly at the now-defunct Pop Your Funk parties in their hometown. Their friendship has meant that Dank has been able to coax Green's into producing his most uptempo, dance floor-focused material so far for the release, with the skippy cosmic house of "My First House" finding its way onto the A-side. Reflecting the new direction, the release will come with a limited edition art print.
