  • Infusion have finally announced details of their new LP, due to be released in July. Entitled All Night Sun Light, the album will be released via their Futuresque imprint. It's been five years since the Australian trio has released a full-length, but it's not as though they've been resting on their laurels: After 2004's Six Feet Above Yesterday, the group had a touring schedule that would make Bono's eyes water, making them hot property on the international circuit, and leading to an eventual nod in Rolling Stone's Best 50 Albums Of The Year. But while the shows have continued in recent years, the music has, by and large, not. That will all change in July, when the group eschews the stadium dance rock of yesteryear, for what is being regarded as a concerted retreat towards poppier terrain. All Night Sun Light's 11 cuts were reportedly written and produced by the band in studios in Melbourne, Sydney, Angelsea, The Mornington Peninsula, Brighton UK and Los Angeles. (The final mix ended up in New York at Phillip Glass' Looking Glass Studios.) The band will embark upon an extensive Australian tour in support of the release. Futuresque will release Infusion's All Night Sun Light on July 3rd.
