  • Faze Action are set to launch their Stratus Energy full-length this Saturday in London. Secretsundaze promoter James Priestley's Go!zilla party is the only London night that the nu-disco forefathers have played live at since 2004, and this weekend's event at Cargo will see the Lee brothers return for their second live performance. Priestley has attempted to make the most of the stage set-up at Cargo, and has enlisted eccentric prog-disco merchants They Came From The Stars, I Saw Them for a full live band show. There's still plenty of DJ kicks to be had, however, as James will be joined by edit king of the Midlands, Mark E. His slo-mo house releases for Sonar Kollektiv and Running Back have turned more than a few heads with their sultry grooves, but attendees should expect a much more varied and uptempo sound from his much lauded DJ sets, which will inevitably feature plenty of his own personal edits. Adrian Fillary and Julian Butterfield from Lovebox will complete the line-up, making it a bit of a Nuphonic reunion, seeing as Julian and Faze Action’s Simon used to play together under the Nuphonic Dream Team banner. Tickets are still available to purchase directly through RA Tickets.
