- Barcelona just got a little bit hotter this June: We can now announce details of our two parties over the Sonar Festival period. RA by day and RA by night, that will feature Akufen, Jus-Ed, Manuel Tur, Tony Lionni and more. RA by day, hosted by Index Barcelona, is strictly an invite-only event poolside on the rooftop of Hotel Me, which will feature rising stars Manuel Tur, Tony Lionni and a surprise guest or two that we unfortunately can't announce. Time to call in some favours to get on the list? We wouldn't blame you... We've lined up three esteemed veterans at the top of their game for our big RA by night. Akufen headlines, performing a rare European date and previewing material from what we hope will be a forthcoming album under the legendary alias, while Thomas Brinkmann will undoubtedly bring the experimental funk ala his recent RA podcast. Connecticut deep house head Jus-Ed rounds out the initial line-up announcement, promising house goodies from his latest compilation, which was released earlier this month. Meanwhile, for those who want to go a bit more minimal, our friends at B4 Bookings are taking control of room two. Expect techno offerings from the likes of Lucio Aquilina who's playing live, Camea and Xpansul. RA by night will be held at the centrally located, and newly refurbished (including a new sound system) Boulevard Culture Club - the former home of Fellini. With prime real estate on Las Ramblas and three legends lined up for the event, we'd be lying if we said we weren't excited. So much so that, we are offering a handful of tickets for only €5, but you best be quick. Both events are sponsored by our friends at Fenchurch Clothing.
