  • Look Right, a brand new Sydney monthly, taking place across Oxford Street's Q Bar and 34B, is kicking off this weekend, with Shazam, and a host of others, spinning tunes. Not much has been said of the night's music policy, other than that disco, dubstep, rap, rave, bass, indie and classics will all be making an appearance. But having recently released his Pool Party 12-inch on Bang Gang 12-Inches, you can no doubt expect to hear many of those genres in Shazam's set, which will be a rare DJ appearance in Sydney for the Perth-based DJ. Notably shying away from the current Australian electro tech trend, the teenage producer has spent the last few years making deep house, with hints of funk, tech house and electro popping up as well. Mark Murphy, Sleater Brockman and Cassette will be in support for the launch.
