- Metro Area, Dusty Kid and Solomun & Stimming will all play the Leeds night's latest venture early next month.
- Leeds promoters Wax:on host their first Magicbag party at the Victoria Works warehouse next month. The bash will see the main room taken over by the dark tech-house tones of Viva owner Steve Lawler, Dusty Kid and local hero Paul Woolford, but if you prefer your tech-house with a lighter, more melodic touch, then you'll most likely be drawn to the Diynamic Music showcase in the second room. Label co-founder Solomun will be joined by sometime collaborator Stimming, while Compost's Jay Shepheard (who contributed a track to the Diynamic's Saturday I'm In Love compilation) will bring his cosmic house stylings to Leeds for the first time. As if that wasn't enough, disco lovers will be well catered to in room three, with both Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrani of Metro Area joining Belgian balearic bods Aeroplane behind the decks.
