- The Chicago house legend will play in the city this weekend for the first time in more than five years.
- Chicago house music legend Derrick Carter will be making a rare appearance in Leeds this weekend. The boompty house purveyor hasn't been to the city in more than five years, and will be performing for indie label Baker Street Recordings at their event at Beaver Works. The imprint, which will be hosting events throughout the city this year to showcase its wares will welcome Carter to the warehouse venue, an ideal place to hear his dirty house stylings throughout the day party which is set to last from 2 PM to midnight on Sunday. Providing support? None other than Back to Basics resident Buckley and Baker Street's Jacob Kelly and Lil' Mark.
