- The Mercury Prize winner has been arrested following an alleged incident involving a baseball bat.
Dizzee Rascal has been arrested and bailed following an incident on Friday.
BBC News have reported that the grime star was taken into custody after allegedly approaching another motorist with a baseball bat in Orpington, Kent. After being held on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon, Dizzee was bailed and will have to report to the police later this month.
This alleged road rage incident isn't the first time that he's had a run-in with the wrong end of the law. Back in 2005 he was arrested for carrying pepper spray (which is classified as an illegal firearm in the UK) after a vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped and searched.
Somewhat amusingly, Dizzee pops up on the latest single by Newham Generals, which is appropriately titled "Violence." The track will appear on the Generals' forthcoming album Generally Speaking, which is due for release on Dizzee's own Dirtee Stank label early next year.
