  • GTA Online: After Hours is out today. Prior reports on the Grand Theft Auto V upgrade have had the dance music world in a hubbub, with a likeness of The Black Madonna punching out a cop in a preview and Solomun releasing a collaborative single with GTA's publisher Rockstar Games. The game, out today, will allow players to set up and run a nightclub, then dance and drink in VIP areas or maintain operations in management offices. In typical GTA fashion, the game will also feature a radio station, Los Santos Underground Radio (LS-UR), which will be programmed with exclusive mixes from each of the four resident DJs. In order to "unlock" each resident DJ, players will need to complete each DJ's respective setup missions, after which they'll take over for the current resident. At the end of their turn behind the decks an exclusive mix from each DJ will be aired on LS-UR. Solomun is the first DJ made available to players—who can pick from ten nightclub locations—starting today. His mix will debut on the 31st and includes the aforementioned single, "Customer Is King." Tale Of Us enters the Los Santos nightlife scene on July 31st. Their mix, out August 7th, comprises all original material that will form a new album. Dixon is up next in the club, with a mix out August 14th, and The Black Madonna is the last resident to be made available in the game—her character can be unlocked on August 14th—with a mix coming the week after. The Black Madonna commented on becoming a GTA character on Instagram. "... It's so surreal seeing yourself in a game of this calibre," she writes. "I can say this experience was nothing short of incredible. From the motion capture and acting process, to having my face mapped and fully entering this world." Check out the trailer for GTA Online: After Hours, featuring the game's nightclub impresario Tony Prince and all four resident DJs.
