- The crew behind the Dalston listening bar team up with the Analogue Foundation for this new space in Hackney Wick.
A new venue is opening up in London courtesy of Brilliant Corners and the Analogue Foundation.
Located on the canal in Hackney Wick, Giant Steps will kick off its summer season starting the Saturday of the next bank holiday weekend, May 26th, and remain open through Sunday, September 16th. In addition to its outdoor terrace, Giant Steps will hold parties and events in the indoor warehouse space. It will also host various restaurants and chefs every weekend, plus live music, film screenings and more. Opening hours will be Saturdays and Sundays 11 AM to 11 PM, and Wednesday through Friday evenings from 5 PM to 11 PM.
Details on the summer lineup are still TBA, but for the opening weekend you can expect DJs and chefs from the Brilliant Corners friends and family. Local restaurants Morito and Brawn will also be covering kitchen duties over the long weekend.
The people behind the East London listening bar and analogue arts and technology initiative have previously collaborated on their "travelling soundsystem" project at last year's Houghton Festival.
