MUTEK Montréal announces first round of names for 2018 festival

  • MUTEK Montréal has revealed the first names for its summer lineup. Caterina Barbieri, Machine Woman, Aleksi Perälä and DJ Python are among those making their MUTEK debut. Returning acts include Dasha Rush (as her live act, LADA), RAMZi, Errorsmith and local act Martin Messier. For this edition they're partnering with Keychange to highlight women in music, art and technology during a two-day symposium starting before the festival. Cora Novoa, dj. flugvél og geimskip, Kirke Karja, TMRW and more will feature in the schedule of talks, performances and presentations. The festival runs from August 22nd to 26th in Montréal, with the venue still to be announced.
