Point Blank and Resident Advisor have launched a scholarship programme in London.
The 12-month scholarship, which is free and open to anyone aged 18-25, provides a unique platform for a new generation of electronic music DJs and producers, with a focus on young artists who might not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue their passion.
Students will benefit from industry mentorship, world-class facilities and electronic music expertise in Point Blank's London studios. The scholarship, valued at £14,000, includes an intensive, year-long Music Production & DJ Diploma course taught in London, alongside close mentoring from Point Blank and Resident Advisor.
The scholarship will provide regular access to music industry opportunities, helping to encourage progress and well-rounded experience as a DJ and producer. This will include access to events, live performance slots, guest performance slots with media partners, in-studio mentoring and studio collaborations. The programme will commence in April or September 2018, based on the candidate's availability.
The course is accredited by Middlesex University and is worth the equivalent of the first year of a Degree course if the candidate chooses an academic pathway. (The academic route is optional—the course can be taken on a non-accredited basis and students benefit from the same instructor guidance, mentorship, access to facilities and industry opportunities.)

Soundcloud, Facebook, Mixcloud), highlighting your strongest music and/or mix.
The deadline for this scholarship application is February 28th, 2018, and the selection process will be carried out by both Resident Advisor and Point Blank. Successful applicants will be notified by March 12th, 2018.
