- Holodeck will reissue the 2013 cassette along with an LP from Automelodi.
Texas label Holodeck Records will reissue records from Marie Davidson and Automelodi this April.
Holodeck initially released Davidson's self-titled EP as a cassette in 2013. The label notes, "Her debut chronicles the development of Davidson before her three critically acclaimed full-length LPs, high-profile press coverage and headlining slots at international festivals."
Holodeck will reissue the release—which was initially available only on a limited-edition cassette and as a download—on pink vinyl. The remastered reissue out in April, shortly after the fifth LP from Davidson's duo with Pierre Guerineau, Essaie Pas.
Holodeck will also reissue an LP from another Montreal-based artist, Automelodi, in April. The project of Xavier Paradis, Automelodi's 2013 album Surlendemains Acides "remains one of the most well produced and memorable synth-based works of the modern era," according to the label. It was originally released on the now-defunct Electronic Voice imprint.
