  • Björk has elaborated on her experiences of sexual harassment by a Danish director. In her second Facebook post on the topic, the Icelandic star describes six specific cases of harassment. This includes an incident where the director threatened to enter her room "in the middle of the night with a clear sexual intention, while his wife was in the room next door." She also describes how after every take the director "ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me for a long time in front of all crew or alone," and how she experienced "constant awkward paralysing unwanted whispered sexual offers from him with graphic descriptions, sometimes with his wife standing next to us." The new announcement comes in the wake of Lars Von Trier denying any case of sexual misconduct against Björk. The Danish director, responsible for Dancer In The Dark, which starred Björk, is widely assumed to be the director in question. Her new allegations further the theory: she mentions the harassment took place in Sweden, where the film was shot, and refers to rumours that she ate a blouse on set in protest of Von Trier's behaviour.
