A number of the mixer's features emulate the professional-grade DJM-900NXS2.
Pioneer DJ has announced a new mixer.
The DJM-750MK2 is designed to "prepare you for the club," with several features and design elements from the club-standard DJM-900NXS2 incorporated into the tech firm's latest four-channel mixer. These include the Magvel crossfader, four Sound Color FX (dub echo, sweep, noise and filter) and 11 beat effects (with the DJM-900NXS2's FX Frequency function). USB ports can also be used as aux and insert send/return channels for routing external FX from iOS software. The sound engine is capable of 64-bit digital signal processing with dithering technology and 32-bit A/D and D/A conversion.
Rekordbox DJ and Rekordbox DVS licenses worth €248 are bundled into the mixer. It will cost €1,199 and will be available from early September. Detailed specifications for the DJM-750MK2 are available on Pioneer's website. It's the second Pioneer mixer released this year to upgrade an existing model—in March, the two-channel DJM-250MK2 came out with a limited range of the DJM-900NXS2's design elements and functions.
