Resident Advisor to host conference at Dekmantel Festival 2017

- We'll host discussions and live interviews at Amsterdam's EYE Film Institute for the second year running, with a cast that includes Steve Reich, Nina Kraviz and Hunee.
- Resident Advisor will host a conference at this year's Dekmantel Festival on Thursday, August 3rd. For the second year running we'll be overseeing an afternoon's worth of discussions and live interviews at Amsterdam's EYE Film Institute on the IJ waterfront. We're moving to a bigger venue within the EYE building for this year's conference, which is free entry and will run from 1 PM until 6 PM. There will be two live RA Exchanges with two masters of minimalism: Steve Reich and Robert Hood. There will also be the first live edition of our Art Of DJing feature series, with Nina Kraviz and Hunee discussing their craft in a joint interview. The programme is rounded out by a panel discussion, titled The Role Of Technique In The Creative Process, with Call Super, Lorenzo Senni and Factory Floor's Nik Void. This year's Dekmantel festival runs from August 2nd through 6th, with live shows from the likes of Steve Reich, Marcos Valle, Larry Heard, D.A.F., Gas, British Murder Boys, Jeff Mills & Tony Allen, Sun Ra Arkestra and Marie Davidson, and DJ sets coming from Masters At Work, Joe Claussell, Nina Kraviz, Lena Willikens, Beatrice Dillon, Antal & Hunee, Vladimir Ivkovic, Ben UFO, Jon Hopkins, Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd, Volvox & Umfang and more.Listen to the highlights of last year's Dekmantel conference.
