- The Greenwich venue, which was devastated by fire last year, will return this summer.
South London's Studio 338 will reopen its garden space on Saturday, June 3rd.
It'll be the first part of the club to reopen following a fire last year that gutted the venue and took the life of Studio 338 staff member Tomas Ceidukas. "It is with bursting hearts that we finally get to invite you over to ours for a dance in the sunshine once again," the club said in a Facebook post. "For some limited edition daytime sessions, we offer you our beautiful new garden and some of the very best selectors in the world. Since August last year the thought of us all dancing together again has been the light at the end of a long and sometimes very dark tunnel. We can't wait to finally arrive there and be with you all once again."
The first event is a daytime session on June 3rd, which will be followed by "a serious afterparty," the club says. Rebuilding work began on Studio 338 in late 2016. The full venue is expected to reopen at a later date.
