Richie Hawtin to premiere new audiovisual show, CLOSE, at Coachella 2017

- Richie Hawtin will premiere a new audiovisual show at Coachella 2017 in April. CLOSE - Spontaneity & Synchronicity, which lasts for 75 minutes, will blur the lines between DJing and live performance. Footage of Hawtin, recorded via several intimately placed cameras, will be projected onto large screens while he manipulates various bits of gear. There are a string of CLOSE dates in the diary already. After Coachella, which goes down across two consecutive weekends in April, Hawtin will perform at Movement in Detroit, VIVID Live in Sydney, NOS Primavera Sound in Porto, We Love Green in Paris and the German festival Melt!, among others. There's also a slot at the UK giant Creamfields locked in, which will be Hawtin's only UK festival performance of 2017. Watch a teaser video for CLOSE.
