- Hamburg and the western district of Altona have pledged the money.
Golden Pudel has received €300,000 of government funding to help with the reconstruction effort.
The club was nearly destroyed in a fire in February last year, leading to calls for donations. The city's government has pledged approximately €200,000, while another €100,000 will come from the western district of Altona. The total amount needed is €850,000, according to NDR. The news comes in the wake of a series of fundraising events featuring some of the club's residents.
