  • A new round of names have been added to the lineup of Portugal's new Waking Life festival. The new additions cover house, techno and more experimental fare. On the house front, there will be sets from minimalists Cristi Cons, Sammy Dee and OCH, while Stimming, Barem, Dorisburg, Kassem Mosse, Jennifer Cardini, ATEQ and Kettenkarussell serve up more melodic sounds. Techno will come from Zenker Brothers, DJ Nobu, Patrick Russell and Vril, with Aurora Halal and Aleksi Perälä likely delivering more leftfield material. Ben UFO is also locked in. Announced in January, Waking Life runs from August 17th through 20th near the medieval town of Crato. Giegling and Berlin agency Solid-AM will both curate stages. It's also eco-friendly, and will aim to foster a community spirit through skills sharing—head to the festival's website to get involved.
