Sankeys to open nightclub in Essex called Sankeys East

- The venue, located in Romford, will open on Boxing Day 2016.
- Sankeys is opening a new nightclub, called Sankeys East, in Essex. Located at 36-38 North Street, Romford, in the London Borough Of Havering, the club will be the fourth branch of Sankeys, joining a portfolio that includes venues in Manchester, Ibiza and Tokyo. It'll open on Monday, December 26th, 2016 (AKA Boxing Day). The lineup is still TBA. Details on the layout are scarce at this point, though the team recently confirmed that a lighting grid similar to those at the other venues is being installed. The club is also keen to help out in the community, and has appealed to local charities, educational programmes and art projects to come forward with ideas for potential collaborations.
