  • Rewire 2017 will go down from March 31st to April 2nd in The Hague. It's the experimental festival's seventh edition, and as usual, it'll spread out across a number of theaters, churches and nightclubs. The booking is a mix of DJs, bands and electro-acoustic performances, and it includes the Dutch premiere of Arca DJing alongside longtime visual collaborator Jesse Kanda (a highlight of Turin's Club To Club Festival this year, according to Carlos Hawthorn). Also on the bill is SUMS, the collaborative project of French techno producer Kangding Ray with composer Barry Burns, of the Scottish post-rock band Mogwai. Then there's Forest Swords, Jessy Lanza, Lorenzo Senni, Pharmakon, These Hidden Hands, the Jameszoo Quartet and GAIKA as well as Radian presenting their new album On Dark Silent Off live for the first time in Holland. This is in addition to a program of multi-disciplinary performances, screenings, talks and workshops that are still TBA.
