Hamburg club Golden Pudel is asking for help to finance the repair of damage it suffered in February's fire.
A short email sent out by Golden Pudel boss Ralf Köster earlier today explains the Mara & Holger Cassens Foundation For The Support Of Art And Culture provided assistance to the venue in recent months, but more work needs to be done to get it operating again. The message explains that while some insurance money was paid out, the "complete restoration of the venue will cost at least as much as five brand-new and showroom-fresh SUVs." Donations can be made over at the Golden Pudel site.
February's fire at Golden Pudel followed a lengthy legal battle between the venue's two owners. Those issues were resolved not long after the fire took place.
