The fight for the club's future starts at Highbury Magistrates Court next month.
The court date for
fabric
's appeal against Islington council's decision to revoke its license has been set for Monday, November 28th. The club today confirmed the appeal date, while also revealing that it is calling on a legal team headed up by Philip Kolvin QC and assisted by licensing solicitors Woods Whur. Both have offered their services at a "significantly discounted rate," fabric says. In addition to challenging Islington council's decision, fabric plans to push for changes to the UK's current Licensing Act. The
#savefabric campaign
to raise funds for the appeal has surpassed the £250,000 mark. The club has today published a second
transparency statement
that details where the money is going.
