fabric has shared a petition ahead of its upcoming license review.
The long-running London nightclub is facing the prospect of closure after its license was suspended by Islington Council, following the recent deaths of two clubbers. The council will hold a review of the club's license on September 6th, where councillors and authorities will share their reasons to push for changes to the license, suspension of the license or closure.
The club is now encouraging supporters to sign a Change.org petition to underline the club's importance and urge London mayor Sadiq Khan and Islington Council to ensure it can reopen. For his part, Khan has already called on the parties involved to ensure fabric's reopening.
The petition is part of a larger #savefabric campaign, which also includes a "campaign pack" to "show your solidarity online."
