Tornado Wallace is putting out an EP on Second Circle late next month.
It's the first release of the year for Australian producer Lewis Day. Tornado Wallace follows an EP for Beats In Space Records, Kangaroo Ground / Ferntree Gully, which came out in 2015. Over the past half-decade, Day has become a favorite among the Balearic set, putting out psychedelic but danceable tunes for the likes of ESP Institute and Delusions Of Grandeur.
Second Circle, a sub-label of venerated reissue imprint Music From Memory, focuses on new music, unlike its parent organization. Thus far, it's released mostly collaborative affairs, issuing records by Crotocosm (Willie Burns and Jordan GCZ), Montezumas Rache (Jan Schulte and The Record Loft founder Christian Pannenborg) and Sombrero Galaxy, the duo of Jonny Nash and Second Circle co-owner Tako Reyenga.
