- The Arla EP, the first release from the sibling duo's new collaborative project, is due out this month.
Truss and Tessela have collaborated as Overmono, with the first record coming out via XL Recordings this month.
Apart from one track for as TR\\ER in 2012, this is the first collaborative release from sibling producers Tom Russell (Truss) and Ed Russell (Tessela). "Despite doing some live shows together and the fact that we're brothers, we hadn't ever really written music together and wanted to start something new," the pair say. "We decided to head to a remote cottage in rural Wales, near to where we grew up. The trip ended up being the most creative stint either of us had ever had and after a week we had the foundations for Overmono." Their first joint record, Arla, is coming out through XL on July 29th.
