  • Solar One Music will release Project STS-31: Spiralgalaxie on September 5th. Robert Witschakowski, AKA The Exaltics, has long made spacious electro that follows in the footsteps of Heinrich Mueller's extremely influential Drexciya and Der Zyklus projects. Fittingly, the two producers will team up for Solar One's 40th release. Spiralgalaxie also marks ten years in business for Solar One, the label Witschakowski co-founded, and the record, which comes out in CD, vinyl and as part of a limited box set, also wraps up a trio of records dedicated to the Hubble Telescope. (Previous entries came from E.R.P. and Luxus Varta). The 13-track collection gathers tracks from a number of Mueller and Witschakowski projects, including The Exaltics, Robert Heise, Der Zyklus, Rudolf Klorzeige, Crotaphytus and Project STS-31, a new alias that takes its name from the space shuttle mission that launched the Hubble into space. The label says to "expect nothing but contemplative and cosmic electro beats using original outer-space sounds from the Universe." Listen to clips from Spiralgalaxie.
