  • Floating Points, AKA Sam Shepherd, has a new EP on the way called Kuiper. The two-tracker, which is Shepherd's first material since he dropped RA's #1 album of 2015, will come out in July through his own Pluto label. He recorded the EP's 18-minute title track alongside members of his current live band, namely Leo Taylor, Alex Reeve and Susumu Mukai. The flipside, "For Marmish Part II," is much older, written around the same time as the original "For Marmish," which appeared on Elaenia. It features Shepherd singing. Kuiper will be available digitally and on vinyl from July 22nd. Watch a live video for the title track below.
